Google Meet now available as one of your online meeting providers in Zoho CRM
Based on requests from CRM users, Zoho has added Google Meet as one of your online meeting providers in Zoho CRM. It sits alongside the other meeting providers already available, so your teams can run meetings from the tool they already work in.
How can this be enabled?
Users who have admin profiles can enable this option from the Preferences tab under the Meetings module, so there's no need to go across to the Marketplace separately. Select Add Provider, choose Google Meet from the Online Meeting Marketplace, and click Enable.
Once it's enabled, anyone who picks Online as the meeting venue and Google Meet as the provider is asked to authorize their account.
After a quick sign-in, they can schedule and run Google Meet calls straight from CRM.
Where it helps day to day
Say a sales rep books a product demo with a prospect right from the lead record. They set the venue to Online, pick Google Meet, and the meeting link goes out with the invitation. The rep never leaves CRM, and every meeting stays tied to the right record, so the follow-ups, notes, and next steps all sit in one place.
A note for Google Workspace organizations:
If your users are managed under Google Workspace, an administrator may first need to grant Zoho CRM access to Google Meet from the Google Admin Console. Until that's done, users will see an authorization error when they try to create a Google Meet meeting.

Users who have already connected their Google Workspace account and are trying to create a Google Meet meeting will see an alert that an approval is required.
